Photos by Ben Gagnon Flushing residents have another recreational trail to enjoy, thanks to the opening of the Creekview Trail on the city’s south side. The non-motorized route features a half-mile of paved trails and boardwalk, starting at the corner of Aberdeen Court and Lynn Street and winding through the formerly undeveloped Somerset Park. The trail was made possible by a $150,000 grant from the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund, as well as efforts from the Flushing City Parks and Recreation Committee, the Department of Public Works and Flushing City Council. — B.G.
